The journey from Valentine or Strawberry is a long and beautiful one. You’ll watch the green grasslands give way to alpine forests, and finally, to deep, pristine snow. As you get closer to the lake, the world will grow quiet, muffled by the snow. This is where you need to start paying close attention.
The White Arabian almost always spawns on the western side of the lake. As you ride along the shoreline, move slowly. Keep your eyes peeled. She blends into the snowy landscape perfectly, and it’s easy to ride right past her if you’re not looking carefully. You’re looking for a flash of pure white against the slightly off white snow.
Part 3: The Art of Taming the Ghost
Once you spot her, your heart will probably start pounding. This is it. The key to this entire process is patience. Do not rush.
Here is the step by step process to make her yours:
- Stop and Dismount: The moment you see her, stop your horse. Get off. You will be doing this entire dance on foot. Your current horse will only get in the way.
- The Slow Approach: Crouch down to make yourself less of a threat. Target the Arabian so you can keep her in focus, and begin to walk toward her very, very slowly.
