How Many Endings Does BLACK SOULS 2 Have?
There are 11 total endings in BLACK SOULS 2. To see everything this nightmare has to offer, you’ll need to clear the base game content, hunt down hidden requirements in the “Little Girl’s Nightmare” and finish the DLC 3 expansion.
Here is the quick breakdown of what you’re aiming for:
- 5 General Endings (A, B, C, D, E): These are the standard conclusions found in the base game.
- 3 Hidden Endings (F, G, and Unnamed 1): These require a specific “grind” involving secret items and NPC encounters.
- 3 DLC Endings (Unnamed 2, Hell, and Heartbroken): These are the final pieces of the puzzle found at the very end of the DLC 3 content.
Most players stumble into Ending A or C on their first go, but getting to the “True” endings requires way more effort than just beating a boss.

In the video below, you can watch every Black Souls 2 endings.
General Endings (A – E)
To unlock these first five endings, you need 10 Progression Points. You’ll know you have enough when the torches light up above the white door in the Dream Library. Node won’t be at her usual table anymore and you’ll find her near that north door.
Head through that door and step through the fog gate to find your chosen Alice. But you can’t reach her. You have to fight with the Tearing Beast, Dinah (the Cheshire Cat). What you do after this fight decides your fate.

Ending A: Alice
Defeat the Tearing Beast, Dinah, and talk to Alice. Then make love to her. You get a sex scene with the Alice you chose. But when Grimm embraces her, he realizes he has no idea where she actually is. After finding the little girl, the game ends with him wondering, “Where is Alice?”
Ending B: Birth
Ending B is a heavy scene where you completely abandon Alice. To trigger it, you need to hit level 3 covenants with the following nine heroines: White Rabbit Node, Lizard Bill, Foolish Bird Dodo, Caterpillar Shisha, Duchess Margaret von Tyrol, Hatta the Hatter, Mock Turtle, Wolris the Walrus and the Tweedle Twins.
Once you max out their covenants, make love to Node. She will eventually ask if something is bothering you. Tell her you are tired. This gives you the dialogue option to abandon Alice. Choose it.
Node understands your choice. She tells you she has to show you something and mentions your “daughters” are waiting. You suddenly teleport to a nightmare version of the Library Dream. Monster eggs surround you and Node. The eggs start hatching into your daughters.
Here is the crazy part. You realize these daughters are actually most of the important entities you encounter during your Wonderland cycles. Node ends the game by saying, “…And a happy breeding season will soon begin once again”. This ending implies that almost every entity you meet is your offspring!
Ending C: Catastrophe
This is the “you messed up” ending. If you lose the fight against Dinah, she kills your Alice right in front of you. After that, like ending A, he wonders, “Where is Alice?”
Ending D: Death
Defeat Dinah and talk to Alice. But this time, choose to kill her instead of making love. As long as your SEN is above 0, you will instantly kill the Alice you picked. The game ends with Grimm questioning whether everything was just a dream or reality and again, you are left with the final “Where is Alice?” screen.
Ending E: Exclusion
Defeat Dinah and choose to kill Alice, like ending D. But if you have 0 SEN or less, she won’t die instantly. She gets pissed and transforms into her nightmare form for a brutal boss fight. The boss you face depends on the Alice you picked at the start of the cycle: The Black One for the Daughter, the Shadow Demoness for the Little Sister, and the Elk Goddess for the Mother.
You don’t get a special ending as you do with Dinah. You just get kicked straight to the “Game Over” screen.
Hidden Endings (F & G) Walkthrough
If you want Endings F and G, you have to put in the work. First, you must beat the game at least once. Then, you need to knock out three massive requirements during your run.
First, track down Red Hood and talk to her at least 10 times. You don’t need her mark. Next, head over to Queensland and find Leaf. Get her ring and make sure you actually equip it. Finally, collect every single Scattered Memory hidden across the game.

How to Enter the Little Girl’s Nightmare
After your first playthrough, go to the upper left part of the Library Dream. Interact with the big crystal to jump to the next cycle. The game will ask you to choose an Alice. Reject every single option. Just press your back button to cancel out of them. Soon, you will only have one option left: “Alice Liddell”. Pick her.
An Alice will appear next to you. She will be pretty mad that you noticed the other Alices are fake. The game then teleports you straight to the Little Girl’s Nightmare.
The Boss Gauntlet
This new area shows the true demonbeast identities of everyone from Wonderland. You get to hear their honest opinions about everything. You can skip most of the fights here. Push forward until you find Node. You can fight her, but you don’t have to. Spare her for a cute interaction and a kiss. You can also trigger an optional fight against Meryphillia if you beat her earlier.
Keep walking and you will run into Jubjub, Bandersnatch, and Jabberwock. They corner you for a 3v1 fight. Out of nowhere, Miranda jumps in and backstabs Jubjub. Jabberwock tries to kill Miranda, but Hein blocks the fatal blow. This kicks off a massive brawl.
Win the fight, and Jubjub and Bandersnatch will surrender. This pisses Jabberwock off. She kills both of them and enters a manic rage. She transforms into Jabberwock, the Abominable Evil. She rants about wanting to be a Creator, not just a Great One. Beat her, and she disappears. You then part ways with Miranda and Hein.
The Final Choice
Walk a bit further to find Red Hood. Leaf will immediately interrupt your conversation. The two start arguing. Leaf thanks you for equipping her ring. It helped her break out of jail. After some more dialogue, you get a final prompt.
Pick Red Hood to trigger Ending G. Pick Mary Ann (Leaf) to trigger Ending F.
Ending F: Fairy
Red Hood attacks, but Mary Ann helps you beat her and drops heavy lore about the Crawling One. Push forward and defeat Little Girl Alice. Leaf gets ecstatic, promising to make stories with you forever. Cut to four years later: Grimm and Leaf are making love. Then the camera pulls back for a massive twist. Grimm is actually choking Leaf while a giant Crawling One watches the whole thing like a sick puppet show.
Ending G: Good
Mary Ann attacks, but Red Hood helps you win. Leaf then drops a bombshell: she cursed Red Hood to die before 20 and doomed every heroine you met. Grimm loses it and punches Leaf into a wall, which kills her. Red Hood admits she knew about the curse and reveals you are her true creator.
Move forward and find Alice. Make love to her, then try to kill her. She fights back. Red Hood cuts her head off, but Alice is the Crawling One. She calls Poro, triggering a boss fight against the Crawling Little Girls. Red Hood and Poro help you win.
The world starts collapsing. Debris separates you, and three Alices ambush your allies. Leave them behind and push forward to Alice. She cries out for her teacher, “Mister Carroll.” Lewis Carroll steps out of Grimm’s body, soothes Alice, and they leave. You wake up in a normal world, step outside, and see Red Hood. She’s smiling, but she’s missing an arm.
Unnamed Ending 1 (Crawling Girls)
This is a hidden fail state that counts as an official ending. If you face The Crawling One and lose the fight, or if you simply choose to give up when confronted by the Crawling Girls, you trigger this. You become just another victim consumed by the abyss. It’s a fast, depressing wrap-up to your cycle.
DLC 3 Endings
To reach the absolute final conclusions of BLACK SOULS 2, you have to push through the DLC 3 content. You need to have finished Ending G to even access this final nightmare.
Unnamed Ending 2 (Grand Guignol)
Reach the end of the DLC and face the mechanical God, Grand Guignol. You have two ways to trigger this ending: pick the option to “offer my soul,” or just give up after losing the boss fight.
Grimm ascends and becomes a creator himself. He gears up to wage war against The Crawling One and the other gods. Node stays loyal and stands ready to bear his children. This is a massive dark power fantasy. You trade your sanity for pure godhood.
Ending H: Hell and Heartbroken
This is the definitive end to Grimm’s journey. You get here by defeating Grand Guignol and watching Wonderland finally collapse. How it plays out depends entirely on one specific item.
The Hell Route
If you don’t have Prickett’s Ring, Grimm tries to escape the collapsing world with Red Hood. The Crawling One grabs him before he can get out. Grimm realizes his cursed nature will doom anyone he gets close to. He makes the ultimate sacrifice, lets go of Red Hood, and is slowly consumed by the horde of Alices. It’s a brutal, noble death.
The Heartbroken Route
You need Prickett’s Ring in your inventory to get this. Have it on you, and an Alice will guide Grimm back to reality. She walks you to the exit door but stays behind in the darkness. She tells you to forget everything and live your life. Grimm refuses. He vows to take her hand one day and reunite as lovers.
Grimm escapes and stays by Red Hood’s side for the rest of her natural life. He is completely free from the shackles of the Lost Empire. Even so, he’s still there to witness her final moments at a peaceful sunrise. You gave Red Hood her happiest moment, but it came at a cost of profound loss.
