RDR2 Serial Killer Clues: All 3 Murderer Clue Locations

If you’re asking where are all the RDR2 Serial Killer Clues in RDR2, you are in the right place. You can discover the three crime scenes in any order. Each location has a dismembered body and a chilling message painted nearby. The piece of the map you need is always tucked inside a severed head.

All 3 Clue Locations rdr2

RDR2 Killer Location 1

The first clue is found just south of Valentine. Follow the railroad tracks heading south out of town. You will come to a large wooden railway bridge. The crime scene is directly underneath it. Look for a severed head stuck to one of the bridge supports. You will find the first piece of the map there.

RDR2 Killer Location 2

This clue is located in West Elizabeth, southwest of Wallace Station. Ride across the river and look for a large boulder. It is hard to miss the body parts strewn about. The message “Do You See?” is painted on the rock face. The second head with the map piece is sitting on a smaller rock to the left.

RDR2 Killer Location 3

The final crime scene is south of Rhodes in Scarlett Meadows, just below the “S” in “Meadows” on your map. You will find a massive, creepy looking tree with the victim tied to it and the word “Behold” written on the trunk. The third head and the final map piece are located behind the tree.

Once you collect the third clue, the three pieces will automatically combine into a single “Pieced Together Map” in your satchel. This next step is extremely important and easy to miss: You must open your satchel, find the map, and select “Inspect.”

Arthur needs to look at the map to understand where to go. Once you do this, a new white stranger mission area will appear on your main map, marking the Red Dead Redemption 2 killer’s hideout. If you go to the location without inspecting the map, you won’t be able to get inside.

The RDR2 Serial Killer Hideout Location

The map leads you to Lucky’s Cabin, a dilapidated shack southwest of Valentine. As you approach, your horse will get spooked, and you will see snakes slithering everywhere a good sign you are in the right place.

The entrance to the killer’s lair is a set of slanted basement doors on the side of the cabin. Thanks to inspecting the map, Arthur will know the combination to the lock and open it automatically.

RDR2 Killer: The Confrontation

Head down into the terrifying basement with your lantern out. It is filled with bones, surgical tools, and letters from the killer’s mother that explain a lot about why he’s so messed up. Take a moment to read them.

When you reach the back of the basement and inspect the knife plunged into a corpse, the killer, Edmund Lowry Jr., will ambush you from behind.

Now, your gunslinger instinct will be screaming at you to fill this guy with lead. Do not shoot him! If you do, you’ll fail the mission. The game wants you to bring him in alive. Instead, wait for the prompt to counter his attack and knock him out with your fists. It is way more satisfying anyway.

RDR2 Killer: Justice in Valentine

After you have knocked Edmund out, hogtie him, throw him on your horse, and ride to the Sheriff’s office in Valentine.

Drop him on the floor in front of the Sheriff, who will be very grateful. But it is not over yet. As the Sheriff is about to lock him up, Edmund will break free and attack him.

Now you can shoot him. As soon as you regain control, activate Dead Eye and put him down for good. You will save the Sheriff and finally close the case.

RDR2 Killer: You Cleaned Up the Streets

For your heroic efforts, the Sheriff will reward you with $20. It is not a huge payout but taking down one of the most twisted characters in the game is a reward in itself. You have made the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 a slightly safer place.
