How to Get Dying Light The Beast All Achievements

First, take a deep breath. The achievement list in The Beast is designed to be enjoyable, not a chore. There are no missable trophies, no difficulty specific requirements, and nothing is locked behind mandatory multiplayer. The path to 100% is straightforward.

Our strategy is simple:

  1. Story First: Play through the main campaign and complete every side quest you find. This will naturally unlock all story achievements and lead you to most of the game’s key locations.
  2. Cleanup Crew: After the credits roll, the world is still yours to explore. Use this time to hunt down any remaining collectibles and mop up the last few combat related achievements.

Dying Light The Beast Story Achievements

These Dying Light The Beast Achievements will unlock automatically as you progress through the main story. Think of this as a spoiler-free checklist to track your journey.

  • Free at Last: Escape from The Baron’s sanctuary.
  • Experiment on the Loose: Defeat your first Chimera.
  • New Friends: Rescue the survivors at the Town Hall.
  • Largo Embargo: Discover The Baron’s sabotage.
  • Less Obedient: Survive a mountain collapsing on your head.
  • Enhanced Telepathy: Survive the field experiment.
  • There You Are!: Capture the “monster.”
  • Glimpse into the Future: Complete the main story.

Combat & Progression Trophies

This is where you sharpen your claws and prove you’re the apex predator of Castor Woods.

Becoming an Apex Predator

The Iconic achievement requires you to kill an enemy with a Dropkick, a classic Dying Light move. For Apex Predator, you’ll need to take down a Volatile. Don’t try this early on. Wait until you have better gear and a few Beast Mode skills, then lure one near a Safe Zone’s UV light for an easier fight.

Weapon-Specific Challenges

For the Gunslinger achievement, you need to land 6 revolver headshots in 20 seconds. Find a group of slow walkers during the day, line them up, and take your time. To get Firefighter, you have to kill 112 enemies with the flamethrower. Its blueprint unlocks in the Survival skill tree. Save your fuel for large, tightly packed groups of zombies to be efficient.

Unleashing Your Inner Monster

You’ll earn Hexakosioihexekontahexa by killing 666 enemies with your beast powers. This will come naturally, but you can speed it up by activating Beast Mode in dense zombie populations. The Ultimate Beast achievement requires you to fully upgrade your beast skill tree. You can only earn Beast Points by defeating the eight story related Chimera bosses, so this trophy is directly tied to your campaign progress.

Dying Ligth The Beast Collectibles & Exploration Guide

Time to put on your explorer’s hat. This section covers everything you need to find and secure in the valley.

Securing the Territory

For We’re Safe Here! and And Then There Was Light, you simply need to activate all Safe Zones and Transformer Stations you discover on your map. To unlock Crane on a Monument, find the tallest building in Castor Woods and parkour your way to the very top. The view is worth it.

Helping the Locals

The Good Samaritan achievement is earned by completing every side quest in the game. This should be a priority, as these quests often lead you directly to or near the locations of other collectibles, making your hunt much more efficient.

Castor’s Curiosities

The Cabinet of Curiosities achievement is your reward for finding every single collectible. These are broken down into four smaller achievements:

  • Know What ‘Castor’ Means?: Find all the Castor Beaver statues. (“Castor” is Latin for beaver!)
  • And Don’t Forget to Wash Your Hands: Collect all “Hidden Truths with Spark” podcasts.
  • What Happened at the Asylum: Uncover all the secrets hidden within the St. Valentine’s Asylum.
  • Family Picture: Find all the Fisher Family newspaper clippings, which reveal The Baron’s backstory.

Miscellaneous Trophies

Here are the final trophies to round out your collection.

Road Rage & Racing Stripes

The I Still Don’t Approve of Mindless Fun achievement tasks you with running over 500 zombies with your vehicle. Find a long, open road and get to work. For Kylin McCrane, you need to earn a gold medal in all of Travis’s Races. Practice the routes to master them.

The Master Craftsman

Craftsman’s Apprentice will pop the first time you install a weapon mod, and Blacksmith unlocks after repairing your weapons 50 times. The real challenge is Craftsman, which requires you to fully upgrade every blueprint. This is the most resource intensive task in the game and will likely be the last achievement you earn. Focus on looting scrap and hunting special infected for rare trophies.

The Long Haul

Finally, there’s Sunday Morning Run. You just need to run a total of 10,000 meters. You’ll unlock this through normal gameplay without even trying.
