When you jump into a game from the creators of The Wolf Among Us, you know you’re signing up for a ride where every word matters. The core of this game is the Dispatch choices you make. With Episodes 1 and 2 finally out, I’ve played through them, and let me tell you, the pressure is on from the first minute. This isn’t just about picking what to say; it’s about managing relationships, your (already ruined) reputation, and even navigating some… complicated… romance.
This guide covers all the major, relationship changing choices in the first two episodes. If you’re looking for the release schedule for the full 8 episode season, check out our guide on the full scoop on all Dispatch episodes.
The Full Breakdown of Dispatch Choices
You want the info fast? I get it. Here’s the quick and dirty summary of what you need to know about the choices in Dispatch Episodes 1 and 2.
- What This Guide Is: A full walkthrough for the major decisions in Episode 1 (“Pivot”) and Episode 2 (“Onboard”).
- What Choices Matter: Most “flavor” dialogues just change the next line. The real choices are the ones that give you the Blonde Blazer will remember that notification. Those are the ones that affect relationships and story outcomes.
- Good vs. Bad: There isn’t really a “Game Over” bad choice, but you can definitely make your life harder or lock yourself out of relationships.
- Romance: Yes, there are Dispatch romance options. And yes, it’s exactly who you think it is.

Dispatch Episode 1 Walkthrough
The first episode, Pivot, is a gut punch. You start as the badass hero Mecha Man, tracking down the villain Shroud. You get a taste of the good life, complete with QTEs and hacking minigames, before it all goes south. After your suit is destroyed and your career is over, you get a new job offer from Blonde Blazer. This is your full Dispatch Episode 1 Walkthrough with all the choices, in order.

Dispatch Episode 2 Walkthrough
Episode 2, “Onboard,” is your first day at the new job, and it’s a total train wreck. This is your Dispatch Episode 2 Walkthrough, and it’s all about meeting your new “team” of dysfunctional ex villains. You’ll meet Royd (the “bro fist” guy), Invisigirl (voiced by Laura Bailey and a total pain), and the rest of the crew.
Dispatch episode 2 choices
The Dispatch episode 2 choices are all about managing your team’s (and your boss’s) perception of you. Here’s the play by play.
Lounge Talk (with Waterboy):
- Not a great actor.
- Seems like a jerk.
- He’s phenomenal.
- (No consequence.)
Conference Room (with Blonde Blazer):
- Option 1:
- I don’t mind.
- Is this an HR violation?
- No peeking.
- (All safe.)
- Option 2 (This one matters!):
- Didn’t feel like a mistake. (No change)
- I’ll take your lead. (+ Relationship)
- We were drunk. (- Relationship)
- (This choice directly follows up on the kiss.)

Meeting Invisigirl:
- Powers don’t make you a hero.
- I’m here to help.
- Let’s make the best of it.
- (All safe, she’s difficult either way.)
Office Tour:
- How many heroes work here?
- What heroes do you hire?
- Three D’s?
- (No consequence.)
Meeting Royd in the Bathroom:
- Option 1 (This one matters!):
- BRO FIST. (+ Relationship)
- DO NOT BRO FIST. (- Relationship)
- (Just bro fist the guy. It’s easy.)
- Option 2:
- No, I’m just kidding.
- I don’t know.
- Doubt it’s a coincidence.
- (All safe.)

Meeting Chase in Records Room:
- Option 1:
- Do I know you?
- Why is this happening?
- Can you not do this?
- (All safe.)
- Option 2:
- That’s cruel.
- So, how old are you?
- I’m so sorry.
- (All safe.)

Granny’s Donuts Call (with Invisigirl):
- Donut Choice:
- Jelly filled.
- The long cream ones.
- Plain glazed.
- (This is for a trophy/achievement! The “correct” answer for the trophy is the least popular choice among all players. So, it might take a retry.)
- First Fight Choice:
- Duck!
- Go invisible!
- (No consequence.)
- Second Fight Choice (This one matters!):
- DISARM GRANNY.
- TAKE OUT THE THIEF.
- (Whichever you pick, Invisigirl does the opposite. The outcome is the same: Granny gets hurt, and the perp escapes. This is a no win scenario.)

Break Room (Confronting Invisigirl):
- Option 1:
- I can’t just disappear.
- You need better friends.
- You chose that life.
- (All safe.)
- Option 2:
- You ignored my order.
- I told Chase you disobeyed.
- You think that went well?
- (All safe.)

- The suit isn’t Mecha Man.
- You need me.
- I’m the real hero here.
- (All choices lead to the same outcome, but will be remembered.)

Debrief with Chase and Blonde Blazer:
- Option 1 (The “Snitch” Choice!):
- The air’s dry. (You cover for her.)
- Invisigirl punched me. (You snitch. This will be remembered.)
- I bumped my head. (You cover for her.)
- Option 2:
- She disobeyed an order.
- I could’ve done better.
- The perp got away.
- (All safe.)

Leaving the Office (The “Date” Scene):
- Option 1 (This one matters!):
- Thanks for setting this up.
- I’m glad I’m here too.
- Do you want to grab dinner? (This is the Blonde Blazer Date prompt. She will remember this.)
- Option 2 (The Awkward Follow up!):
- After her boyfriend Phenomaman shows up and invites you.
- Sorry, I already ate. (+ Relationship with Blazer)
- Yeah, sounds fun. (- Relationship with Blazer. Super awkward.)
- Gotta get home to my dog. (+ Relationship with Blazer)

Dispatch romance options
Alright, this is what everyone is here for. The main Dispatch romance options right now seem to center on one person, and she’s technically your boss.
Dispatch Blonde Blazer
Your relationship with Dispatch Blonde Blazer is the most complex one in the first two episodes. She’s the one who saves you and gives you a new life. As mentioned, you must choose KISS HER in Episode 1 to even open this possibility.
In Episode 2, you can build on this. When she takes you to the conference room, choosing I’ll take your lead increases your relationship, while We were drunk damages it.
Blonde Blazer Date
This is the big one. At the end of Episode 2, you have a private chat with her. You get the dialogue option: Do you want to grab dinner? This is the Blonde Blazer Date prompt.
If you choose it, she seems interested… and then her boyfriend, Phenomaman, walks in. It is painfully awkward. He then invites you to dinner with them. My advice? Just pick Sorry, I already ate or Gotta get home to my dog. Both increase your relationship with a very uncomfortable Blonde Blazer. Choosing Yeah, sounds fun is the worst option and makes you look like a total creep.
Dispatch best choices
So, what are the Dispatch best choices? It really depends on what you’re going for. There isn’t one “golden path” in these Telltale style games.
Dispatch game best choices (For Relationships)
The Dispatch game best choices are the ones that build trust.
- I like helping people (Ep 1, with Blazer) -> +Relationship
- I’ll take your lead (Ep 2, with Blazer) -> +Relationship
- BRO FIST (Ep 2, with Royd) -> +Relationship
- Lying for Invisigirl (Ep 2) -> +Relationship (with her, at least)
Dispatch all bad choices
The Dispatch all bad choices are the ones that make you seem like a jerk or kill the mood.
- I don’t know (Ep 1, with Blazer) -> -Relationship
- We were drunk (Ep 2, with Blazer) -> -Relationship
- Yeah, sounds fun (Ep 2, accepting the dinner with her boyfriend) -> -Relationship
That’s the full breakdown for the first two episodes. Good luck, dispatcher. You’re going to need it.
Thanks for staying with Game.Dazepuzzle
