New York City: Road to Annihilation

ChallengeHow to Complete
Hit 3 enemies with a single web-swing kick using Spider-Man.This is as simple as it gets. You just need Spidey’s air attack on three bad guys at once. Be patient. Wait for a nice dense crowd to pile up, then jump and let that web-swing fly.
10 enemies defeated using Nova’s Energy Beam.Nova has this killer signature move that fires off projectiles. You need to use it to land the final blow on 10 enemies. It helps if you soften them up with a few punches first so the beam actually finishes the job.
Avoided taking damage from swarming bugs. You’ll see these waves of green bugs charging at you. The strange part is how easy this is if you just pick a flying hero. Stay in the air. Hover above the chaos and you won’t get a scratch. If you’re already using Nova for the other challenge, you’re good to go.

Genosha: Heavy Metal

ChallengeHow to Complete
10 enemies defeated using Wolverine’s Feral throw.Wolverine can leap onto enemies and grab them. It’s honestly his best move. You don’t even need to do the full throw. Just latching on and mashing the attack button counts toward the ten kills.
Defeated 10 enemies by dropping Electric Bombs using Storm.Look up. A little ways into the level, you’ll see Electric Bombs hanging there. If you’re playing as Storm, fly up and hit them. They pretty much insta kill anything below, so you’ll hit that 10-kill mark fast.
Freed all mutants. There are actually only two mutants to find here. Keep an eye out for containment cells as you play. Smash every one you see and you’ll find them both.

Helicarrier: Operation Jailbreak

ChallengeHow to Complete
Hit 3 enemies with a single electro-charge attack using Iron Man.Hold down the attack button with Iron Man to fire an electric orb. It’s a heavy move. Just wait until you see a trio of enemies grouped together and blast them.
Tossed 5 enemies in a pit using Captain America.Cap’s shield throw is great for knocking enemies backward. Don’t waste time trying this at the very start of the level like I did. Wait for the elevator section. Tons of enemies spawn there and it’s super easy to knock them off the edge.
15 enemies defeated using Helicarrier’s turret guns. When you get to the top of the carrier, you’ll see these turrets. Smack them to activate them. They spray bullets everywhere, so just keep hitting them and watch the enemies drop.

Savage Land: Rumble in the Jungle

ChallengeHow to Complete
5 enemies defeated using She-Hulk’s throw.She-Hulk has a grab move similar to Wolverine’s. It’s powerful and easy to spam. Just like with Logan, you don’t technically need to finish the throw animation for it to count.
Hit 5 enemies with a single special attack from Storm.Storm’s special rains lightning down on the whole screen. It’s amazing for crowd control. The only trick is waiting until there are enough enemies. The second half of the level usually has more enemies to target.
Avoided taking damage from dinosaur stampede. When you see the red warning sign, a stampede is coming. If you have a flyer like Storm, who you should be using anyway, just hover over it.

Wakanda: Battle for Birnin Zana

ChallengeHow to Complete
Defeated the mission’s boss using Black Panther.Pretty straightforward. You need to be controlling Black Panther when the final hit lands on Klaww. You can use anyone else to while his health down, just make sure T’Challa gets to land the final hit.
Hit 3 enemies with a single shield throw using Captain America.Cap’s shield bounces between enemies like a pinball. Wait for a group to cluster up and let it rip. If the crowd is big enough, the ricochet does the work for you.
Destroyed bug pods before they spawned 25 enemies. This phrasing confused me at first. Basically, green pods drop into the level and spawn enemies. You need to smash those pods quickly so they don’t produce a total of 25 bad guys. Bring a heavy hitter and destroy them on sight.

Blue Area of the Moon: Full Moon of the Insectoids

ChallengeHow to Complete
Defeated the mission’s boss using Wolverine.Same deal as the Wakanda boss challenge. Fight Phoenix however you want, but switch to Wolverine for the final blow. Easy peasy.
10 enemies defeated using Nova’s special attack.Nova’s special is a massive explosion. It’s great. Just let it charge up. Wait for a big wave of enemies and wipe them out. You’ll hit ten in no time.
Avoided taking damage from bug barricade.About halfway through, a giant wall blocks your path and starts flailing tentacles at you. That’s the bug barricade. Dodge the tentacles and smash the wall.

Destromundo: The Flying Menagerie

ChallengeHow to Complete
Defeated the mission’s boss using Spider-Man.Use Spidey to land the last hit on Venom. Venom is tough, though, so maybe use a tankier hero to get his health low before swapping.
Hit 3 enemies with a single Sonic clap using She-Hulk.She-Hulk can charge up a Sonic clap projectile with her heavy attack. It pierces through enemies, so line up three of them and let it loose.
5 enemies defeated using traps.Trap here means those pink creatures stuck in jars. Break the glass and they run across wiping out bad guys. Wait for enemies to be in the way before you free them.

Asgard: Fall of the Golden City

ChallengeHow to Complete
Tossed 10 enemies in pits using Phoenix. The start of the level on the Bifrost is lined with pits. Phoenix has a grab attack so just spam it and toss enemies off the edge. It’s surprisingly fun.
Hit 4 enemies with a single tackle using Beta Ray Bill.Beta Ray Bill has a sprint attack that acts like a bulldozer. The Bifrost is narrow which forces enemies to bunch up. It’s perfect for plowing through four of them at once.
Avoided taking damage from Galactus’s cosmic absorption.Galactus shoots beams at the stage. Watch for the telegraph and dodge the blast zone. It looks intimidating, but it’s actually pretty easy to side step.

Kylntar: Return of the King

ChallengeHow to Complete
Defeat 10 enemies using Venom’s throw.Venom grabs, pounds, throws enemies. Use this on the smaller symbiotes to rack up 10 kills quickly. Save the big combos for the tougher enemies.
Hit 5 enemies with a single special attack from Black Panther.Black Panther dashes across the screen for his special hitting everything in his path. Wait for the screen to fill up with at least five enemies, then trigger it.
Avoid taking damage from corruption waves. These are the red balloon looking things that explode from the slime pools. It’s not totally clear what they are at first, but just stay back and use ranged attacks to pop them safely.

Hala: The Kree/Bugs War

ChallengeHow to Complete
5 enemies defeated using Rocket Raccoon’s grenades.Rocket throws random grenades. Sometimes elemental, sometimes a nuke. They all do high damage, so just keep tossing them out until you get five kills.
10 enemies defeated using Captain America’s shield throw.Cap’s shield throw doesn’t need to recharge, making it one of the best moves in the game. Spam it. Seriously, just keep throwing it until you’ve downed ten enemies.
Finished the first section undetected. This is tough. You have to get through the first half without being spotted by drones. You can shoot the drones. Bring a character with long-range attacks to take them out before they see you.

Sanctuary II: The Great Experiment

ChallengeHow to Complete
10 parries performed using Phyla-Vell.Her parry is tied to her heavy attack, which is weird because you might accidentally hit the enemy instead of parrying. Try it on every enemy you see. Even some of Thanos’s attacks can be parried if you’re desperate at the end.
10 enemies defeated using Iron Man’s special attack.Iron Man fires a massive repulsor beam across the screen. To guarantee kills, target the weaker enemies or soften up the big guys first.
Avoided taking damage from Sanctuary-II defense system.Halfway through, you’ll pick a door. Doesn’t matter which one; you’ll face the defense system either way. Watch the floor markings to see where it’s going to fire and just step out of the way.

Fort Galactus: Free the Eater of Worlds

ChallengeHow to Complete
10 enemies defeated using Cosmic Ghost Rider’s cosmic machine guns. His machine guns aren’t super strong per bullet, but a full volley does the job. Target the little guys to make sure you actually get the kills.
Hit 5 enemies with a single Stormbreaker throw using Beta Ray Bill.Same drill as before. Wait until you have five on screen, then throw Stormbreaker. It hits like a truck.
Avoided taking damage from Galactus debris.Galactus is in the background throwing junk at you. Look for the markers on the ground indicating where the debris will land and dodge.

Heteropteron: Hell Is the Hive

ChallengeHow to Complete
Hit 5 enemies with a single special attack using Nova.Nova’s explosion is huge. This level is crawling with small enemies, so finding a group of five to blast at once is actually pretty easy.
5 cosmic-charged slashes performed using Phyla-Vell.Use Phyla-Vell’s heavy attack. It slashes and infects enemies with cosmic damage. Do this five times.
Avoided taking damage from Larvas. The Larvas are those spider-like things that hang in the background spitting goo. It’s annoying. Use a flyer and just don’t let the goo touch you.

Arthros Citadel: Negative Zone Showdown

ChallengeHow to Complete
10 cosmic blasts performed using Silver Surfer.Surfer’s signature attack hits multiple enemies. You don’t even need to kill them, just perform the blast 10 times. Fastest challenge in the list.
3 enemies defeated using Rocket Raccoon’s nuke grenade. This is pure luck. Rocket’s grenade type is random. Keep using his signature move and hope you roll the nuke when there are enemies around.
Defeated 10 enemies with Galactus’ help.Galactus will attack enemies from the background. You need to damage them, but let him get the kill. Agile characters like Spidey or Rocket are good for dancing around until the big guy finishes them off.

NYC Rooftops: The Last Battle

ChallengeHow to Complete
Tossed 5 enemies in pits. You know the drill by now. There are pits on the rooftops. Smack enemies into the air and knock them into the abyss.
Defeated the mission’s boss using Nova. One last specific hero kill. Ensure Nova deals the final blow to Annihilus.
Avoided taking damage from Annihilus’ negative rain meteors.During the boss fight, Annihilus has a specific move where he rains down meteors. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, prioritize dodging over everything else.
