Dispatch Episode 3 Choices

Episode 3 of Dispatch, Turnover, really cranks up the pressure. This is the big one you’ve probably heard about, you are forced to cut someone from the Z Team. This decision has permanent consequences, and the entire episode builds up to it. Don’t worry, this guide will walk you through every key moment, from the small talk to the big cut. If you need to review episodes 1 and 2 choices, check out our guide on Dispatch Choices Episodes 1 and 2.

The Quick Answer

The most critical of all the Dispatch Episode 3 choices is who to cut. The game sets you up to think it’ll be Invisigal, but she gets a chance to save herself. Your final, story changing decision is between cutting Sonar or cutting Coupe. Other key choices involve improving your relationship with Blue Blazer, calming down Golem during the team meeting, and successfully managing your team’s sabotage attempts during the first shift.

Dispatch Episode 3 Best Choices

Right at the start, you’ll have a few conversations. While some are just for flavor, a couple of them set the stage for your relationships.

Robert’s Apartment and Royd’s Lab

You’ll start by talking with Royd. Honestly, these first few choices don’t have a massive impact.

Dialogue 1 (Apartment):

  1. It’s minimalism.
  2. I’ve been focused on my work.
  3. I’m poor.

A safe, neutral option here is “I’ve been focused on my work.”

Dialogue 2 (Lab):

  1. Sounds pretty important.
  2. I didn’t get any of that.
  3. Can you recreate it?

Choosing “Can you recreate it?” is a good way to get more story info. Don’t stress these.

The Golem Encounter

As you walk down the corridor, you’ll bump into Golem and he’ll make you drop your phone in the trash. You get two options:

  1. Watch where you’re going.
  2. [LET IT GO]

The best choice here is to [LET IT GO]. It shows you’re the bigger person and will have a positive impact on your relationship with Golem later.

Talking to Blue Blazer

This is your first important conversation, and it heavily involves Blonde Blazer. As one of the main Dispatch romance options, your choices here matter. Blazer calls you into her office and drops two bombs: she broke up with Phenomaman, and she wants you to cut someone from the team.

Dialogue 1 (The Breakup):

  1. Hope I didn’t contribute.
  2. I’m sorry, Blazer.
  3. Are you happy?

To get the best results, choose “I’m sorry, Blazer” when she tells you about the breakup. It’s the only one she responds to positively (+ relationship).

Dialogue 2 (The Cut):

  1. I like it.
  2. It’ll scare them.
  3. You sure about that?

When she brings up cutting someone, pick “I like it” (+ relationship). This increases your relationship with her, as she appreciates you getting on board with the tough call. Choosing “You sure about that?” will decrease your relationship.

Dispatch Episode 3 Shift Guide

This is where things get tricky. Because the team knows someone is getting cut, they are actively trying to sabotage each other during calls. Your main job here is to manage the dispatches and intervene to prevent your heroes from getting injured by their teammates.

All Shift 1 Calls and Sabotage Options

You’ll have a map full of calls. For the Beach Clean Up with Punch Up and Invisigal, be ready to step in when she tries to ditch him. The Undercover Drug Bust with Sonar requires you to help him withstand the noise. For Trouble at the Tailgate with Flambae and Malevola, you’ll need to help manage the situation. Just stay alert during these joint missions and choose the prompt that stops the sabotage.

The Conference Room Meeting Choices

After a chaotic first shift, you pull everyone into the conference room. This is a huge moment for Robert to assert himself as a leader, and your choices here are remembered by the whole team.

The Chair for Golem

Golem will refuse to sit. You get two options:

  1. [KICK GOLEM OUT]
  2. [GIVE HIM THE CHAIR]

The best choice by far is [GIVE HIM THE CHAIR]. This is a massive positive relationship boost (+ relationship) with Golem, especially if you let the phone incident go earlier. He will remember this.

The Phoenix Speech

Now for your big speech. You’ll have two sets of choices.

Speech Theme:

  1. Potential
  2. Pain
  3. Fear

The most effective one is “Potential.”

Dispatch The Phoenix Speech

Follow up Line:

  1. You set this program on fire.
  2. You’re all burnt sh*t.
  3. All of you are Phoenixes.

Follow this up by choosing “All of you are Phoenixes.” This combination lands perfectly and gives the team the inspiration boost they desperately need.

Dispatch Episode 3 Mission Guide

Thanks to your speech, the team is much more cooperative in the second shift. This one is more straightforward, as you won’t have to deal with in fighting.

All Shift 2 Calls

You’ll see calls like Personal Shopper (good for Golem or Punch Up) and Line Cutter (perfect for Prism). These are standard missions, so send the hero best suited for the job.

Shut Down Tournament / Fight in Tournament

The Underground Fighting Ring call gives you a special option. You can either send a team (like Prism and Flambae) to Shut Down Tournament for team wide XP, or you can send Punch Up alone to Fight in Tournament. If he wins, Punch Up gets a massive 200% XP boost, which is a great way to power him up.

The Invisigal Choices (Park and Hacking)

This is Invisigal’s redemption arc. We have a complete Dispatch Invisigal guide that covers all her key moments, but this is her biggest one. At the end of the shift, you’ll call her, and she’s ready to quit, believing it’s her “fate” to be a villain.

The Park Conversation

You have to talk her out of it.

Dialogue 1 (Destiny):

  1. Fate is bullshit.
  2. F*** the stars.
  3. You make your own destiny.

All of these have a similar outcome, but “Fate is bullshit” or “You make your own destiny” are strong choices.

Dialogue 2 (The Mission):

  1. Get one for the road.
  2. Take your anger out on him.
  3. This could make a difference.

Choosing “This could make a difference” helps light a fire under her, and she agrees to take on one last call to catch Lightning struck.

Jewellery Store Hacking Sequences

Invisigal goes after the villain, and you have to help her by completing three hacking sequences. These are mini, games where you have to avoid an Antivirus. It’s crucial that you successfully complete all three hacks. Doing so not only helps her catch the bad guy but also gives you a positive relationship outcome with her.

Dispatch Episode 3 Who to Cut

This is it. The final decision. After Invisigal’s huge win, she’s no longer at the bottom of the leaderboard. You head to Blazer’s office for the final choice.

Final Talk with Blazer

Blazer will be impressed with how you handled Invisigal. She asks if you really think Invisigal has a shot. You can reply:

  1. No, I don’t.
  2. I hope so.
  3. Everyone has a shot.

The best reply here is “Everyone has a shot.” Blazer will remember this.

The Final Decision: Dispatch Episode 3 Cut Choice

Blazer shows you the updated board. Invisigal is safe. The two heroes now at the bottom are:

  1. Sonar
  2. Coupe

You must choose which one to cut from the program. This is the biggest of the Dispatch Episode 3 choices and it is permanent.

Dispatch Episode 3 Cut Choice

There is no right or wrong answer here. It’s purely your call. Do you cut Sonar, the awkward guy who keeps messing up, or Coupe, the ex villain who still seems a little… evil? Whoever you pick will be gone for good, and this choice unlocks a different achievement. If you want to get deep here, you can read our Cut Sonar or Coupe article.

What About Dispatch Episode 4 Choices?

Your decision to cut Sonar or Coupe is the last thing you do in this episode, and it directly impacts the story going forward. Whoever you save will be part of your team in Episode 4, and the character you cut will be gone. This choice will be referenced, and it shapes your remaining Z Team roster.
