How to Increase Vitality Where Winds Meet

If you want to boost your Vitality for stronger Mystic Skills, you will need to unlock Vitality nodes in the Melodies of Peace passive trees in Where Winds Meet. To do that, you must collect Oddities which are special collectibles scattered throughout the world. In Qianghe, these Oddities include:

  • Dagger General
  • Ironwing Mantis
  • Enchanting Lotus
  • Redmist Beetle
  • Whisper Hive

Once you find any of these creatures or curiosities, take them to Qi Sheng, located just east of the General’s Shrine Boundary Stone. He will unlock new passives for you. The Melodies of Peace tree offers a wide range of upgrades including basic stat boosts and new movement abilities.

Investing in Vitality is crucial because many of the stronger Spiritual Skills tied to your playstyle come with steep Vitality costs. Some of the high-tier abilities you will unlock later are especially expensive to use. In fact, we recommend you to increase your Vitality pool because it is an important part of the gameplay.

Where Winds Meet Oddities

Oddities can be found all throughout the game world, with every region containing its own set. In Qinghe, most Oddities are insects. But you will also encounter a few unusual flowers and mushrooms.

In the Journal, these collectibles appear under each region as Sentient Beings, which means each area has a fixed number of Oddities. To fully complete a region, you will need to track down every one of them.

Most Oddities involve a small puzzle or trick to collect. For instance, Dagger Generals are always hidden beneath rocks. Therefore, you will need to listen carefully and grab them quickly once they are exposed. Red Mushrooms, on the other hand, emit a red mist you must touch before picking them up. This is a easy challenge for most players.
