Prerequisites: Unlock the 4 Drawers
Before you can try for any ending, you must unlock all four Drawers under the slot machine. You need these drawers to hold the body parts required to finish the game.
To unlock a drawer, you need Gold Keys. These keys appear in the box to the right of the ATM. You can earn only one gold key per run. The first key requires meeting a 12,500 quota, with the target score increasing each time until the final key demands 200,000. You will need to play at least 4 different runs to get all 4 keys and unlock all the drawers.
How to Assemble the Skeleton (Corpse Pieces and Skull)
To finish the game, you must equip the complete Skeleton. This requires four Corpse Pieces and one Skull. Each piece adds 5% to your debt, making the game harder.
The Easiest Method to Get Corpse Pieces:
- Start a run and buy 4 cheap charms from the shop.
- Put these 4 charms inside your 4 unlocked drawers.
- Lose the game on purpose (Fail the run).
- Start a new run. The charms in the drawers will automatically transform into the four Corpse Pieces! Equip them right away.
Getting the Skull: First, you must grab at least one Corpse Piece to unlock the Skull. Once unlocked, keep checking the shop or simply reset your run until it spawns as a starting item. Once you buy and equip it, you have the full Skeleton!
(Pro tip: The Skull gives you a free random charm in an empty drawer for every corpse piece you have, which helps you survive the extra debt!)
How to Get the Bad Ending (Default) in CloverPit
This is the standard ending. The game community calls this the “Bad Ending” because you are still playing by the devil’s rules.
To get it, simply equip the full Skeleton (4 Corpse Pieces + 1 Skull) and play the game normally until you reach Deadline 8. You will need to earn 250,000 coins. By finishing this quota with the complete skeleton equipped, the skeleton key will transform from black to red. Grab it, unlock the door, and walk out.
How to Unlock the CloverPit True Ending (999 Ascension)
The True Ending (999/Ascension) is much harder. You must reject the devil’s deals and transform the cursed game into a holy one. You still need the full Skeleton equipped to do this.
Step 1: Trigger the 666 Floppy Disk
During your run, you must spin a 666 pattern/roll. When this happens, you lose your unbanked money, but a 666 Floppy Disk will appear on your slot machine. You need this disk for the next steps.
Step 2: Ignore Satan’s Deals (Red Phone Calls)
Sometimes the phone on the wall will ring. If the voice is deep and the text on the screen is RED, this is a “Red Phone Call” (a deal from Satan). Do NOT accept these deals. Click the “Be Right Back” button to ignore the call.
- When you finish the deadline after ignoring a red call, a scratch mark will appear on your 666 Floppy Disk.
- You need 3 marks in total.
How to get 3 Red Phone Calls:
- You are guaranteed to get a Red Phone Call at Deadline 3 and Deadline 7.
- To force another red call, you simply need to avoid the phone until you roll a 666. It doesn’t have to be the final spin of the quota. The moment that round finishes, answer the phone to receive your red deal. (Using the Heartbreak Memory Card guarantees a 666 on the last round, making this very easy).
Step 3: Tank the Final 666 and Transform the Phone
Once your floppy disk has 3 scratch marks, you must take one more hit from a 666 spin. (Using the Possessed Cell Phone item is a great way to force a 666 when you are ready).
After you survive this final 666, the phone will ring again. Answer it! The phone will turn white, putting you in Sacred Mode. Your floppy disk will change to 999, and any future 666 rolls will turn into 999s, giving you massive amounts of holy money! You will also start getting powerful Sacred Charms.
Step 4: Grab the White Key and Escape
Play the rest of the game until Deadline 8. Because you are in Sacred Mode, the key you receive will be the White Key. Open the door, and instead of another slot machine, you will find an elevator. Push the button to ascend to Heaven and get the True Ending!
Avoid These Mistakes
If you are trying to get the True Ending, avoid these common mistakes:
- DO NOT grab the key before it turns white! If you reach Deadline 8 and the key is still black, picking it up will ruin your True Ending run instantly. Do all the 666 steps before the final deadline.
- Never accept a Red Phone Call. If you accept even one red text deal, you are locked out of the True Ending for that entire run. Always click “Be Right Back”.
- Don’t save your tickets. Tickets expire at the end of every round. Spend them in the shop immediately, or they are wasted.
- Watch your bank balance. When you are trying to tank a 666, make sure you have enough money saved in the ATM to survive the penalty, or you will lose the game before you can transform the phone!
