Running into the Brainteaser in Episode 4 of Dispatch can feel like a trap. This guy shows up offering a simple deal: answer his three riddles, and he’ll turn himself in. It seems tricky, but do not worry. We have got all the correct choices right here so you can solve this puzzle fast and get a sweet reward for your entire team.

Humor the Brainteaser or Find the Brainteaser?
When the mission pops up, you get two choices: Humor the Brainteaser or Find the Brainteaser.
You should absolutely pick “Humor the Brainteaser.“
Choosing to humor him and answer the riddles is the best option by far. If you get it right, your entire Z-Team roster gets a nice chunk of free XP, and he surrenders peacefully. The “Find the Brainteaser” option, on the other hand, has a risk of one of your heroes getting injured and gives you no special reward. It is all risk and no reward. Just play his game.
Dispatch Riddle Answers
Here is a quick breakdown of each question in the Dispatch riddle and the correct choice to make. The options are designed to trick you.
Riddle 1: What’s My Favorite Game?
The correct answer is The Wolves Inside Us.
- Why? This is a trick question. The options sound very similar to the real-life Telltale game, The Wolf Among Us.
- Trap Options: Avoid “The Wolf Within Us” and “The Wolves Have Eyes”.
Riddle 2: What About My Favorite Movie?
The correct answer is Standing Alive.
- Why? He is trying to confuse you with similar titles. The other options, like “Walking Dead” or “Staying Alive,” are here to throw you off.
Riddle 3: Who Was My Greatest Nemesis?
The correct answer is Mecha Man Prime.
- Why? This refers to Robert’s grandfather. “Mecha Man Blue” is actually Robert himself (the protagonist), and “Mecha Man Astral” refers to his father.
What Happens if You Get a Brainteaser Dispatch Answer Wrong?
You don’t actually need to get every single answer right. The most important one is the final question about his nemesis. As long as you get that last question right, Brainteaser will agree to be arrested peacefully, and you will get the full reward.
The Skill Check Bonus: There is a hidden mechanic here. If you answer all questions correctly, you will face a very easy Intelligence test (Difficulty 1). However, if you make a wrong choice, the test becomes much harder (Difficulty 10). So, it is better to get them all right just to be safe!
Also, do not bother sending a hero with a high Intelligence stat. This mission does not use any hero stats to solve the riddle. You just have to pick the answers manually, so feel free to send any hero you want.
What About the Find the Brainteaser Quest?
If you are curious about the other option, it is generally not worth it. If you choose to Find the Brainteaser, you skip the riddles and lose the free team XP. However, if you still want to choose this path, it is treated like a normal dispatch mission with a low injury risk.
To catch him successfully without answering riddles, you will need to send a hero with high Intellect. The best heroes for this job are Golem, Phenomaman, or Punch Up.
We still recommend answering the riddles instead. It is the easiest way to complete the mission safely and get those free experience points for your whole team.
